Central America

| November 7, 2011 | 2 Comments

I’m not a tourist. I don’t have matching luggage. I don’t do all-inclusive. Nobody leaves a mint on my pillow. It’s not about the getting there .It’s about the being there. This is the final of eight promotional videos that we produced in-house for G Adventures as part of our new campaign. Hope you enjoyed them!

Mayan pyramids dominate lush jungle, exotic birds soar over pristine cloud forests, colourful parades wind down narrow cobblestone streets-Central America practically bursts at the seams with culture and wilderness. Often overlooked by travellers, true adventurers know just how much there is to see and do here. 2012 brings you the chance to dig deep under Guatemala’s skin by living like a local on our new aptly-named Local Living trip. Costa Rican rainforests, gorgeous coastlines, wall-to-wall adventure… is there anything Central America can’t offer? If so, we haven’t found it.

This ain’t your typical giveaway.

For the right people, however, it just may be the experience of a lifetime. Three winners will embark on an unforgettable trip (airfare included) to one of the hundreds of destinations featured in the pages of our brochures. In the company of our award-winning creative team, the winners will be joined by a personal videographer and photographer who will chronicle their adventure—which will be featured in print and online as part of the G Adventures 2013 campaign. Nope this ain’t your regular giveaway; we’re looking for the face of a movement. And it could be yours!

Interested? We know you are! Check out  www.youllneverforgetit.com or follow G Adventures on Facebook—and, of course, follow @gadventures and hash tag #YNFI on Twitter. Feel free to share it with friends and family members. And remember—if they wear socks with sandals or think bermuda shorts are acceptable attire for any occasion, this ain’t for them.

Not to be too harsh, but I really don’t appreciate the spam posts to your feed with all of these regional giveaways. One post would have been fine, 8 is ridiculous and shows a lack of caring for your readers.

Hi Daniel — not harsh at all. And our apologies — these were mean to be ‘stealth’ posted — and shouldn’t have shown up in our RSS feed at all. We’re looking into the issue presently and have since removed all of these posts from the feed. This, of course, is of little comfort to you, as they’ve already shown up in your reader. Thanks for the heads up, regardless, as you’ve saved those who subscribe to our feed by email the same hassle. Again — thanks for bringing it to our attention — and sorry for the bother.
